“Agro Dairy” concludes 2025 harvest season with record results
One of the country’s leading agro-industrial companies, “Agro Dairy”, has announced the successful completion of the main stage of the 2025 grain harvesting season with strong results. This year, the company’s crop production division achieved the highest indicators of productivity and quality in its history. By processing more than 55,000 tons of local wheat, Agro Dairy set a new national record in the production of food-grade wheat.
As of today, a total of 82,300 tons of high-quality wheat and barley have been produced from the company’s farmlands, with the majority coming from its Hacıqabul and Tovuz operations.
Productivity indicators were particularly remarkable in areas where pivot irrigation technology was applied. In the Hacıqabul farm, wheat yields reached 7.8 t/ha across 497 hectares, one of the highest results in the region. In Tovuz, a new regional record was achieved with 7.5 t/ha across 1,649 hectares.
The company’s CEO, Niyazi Amirbayov, noted that these achievements are the result of more than a decade of targeted strategy, professional management, and systematic work:
“These achievements mark only the beginning of the company’s growth path. Government support for the agricultural sector, particularly subsidies under the Food Wheat Program, played a crucial role in reaching these results. Such subsidies encourage farmers and large farms to adopt modern agrotechnical practices, use high-reproductive seeds, increase productivity, and produce high-quality food wheat. Thanks to these mechanisms, Agro Dairy has both expanded its production capacity and made a strategic contribution to strengthening the country’s food security.”
For the first time this year, significant progress was also achieved on non-irrigated lands in the Karabakh region. Altogether, more than 18,000 tons of wheat and barley were harvested there — an impressive milestone for the region.
Statistical data confirms that this year’s campaign has been the most successful harvest in Agro Dairy’s history, marked by record productivity across vast cultivation areas.
It should also be noted that, with government support, the company continues to systematically implement modern irrigation systems, including pivot, drip, and sprinkler technologies, which ensure efficient water use and higher yields. In 2025 alone, 69,054 tons of crops were harvested from 10,317 hectares under pivot irrigation, demonstrating the clear effectiveness of this approach.
According to Ramil Mammadov, Agro Dairy’s Executive Director for Crop Production, the productivity levels recorded this season clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of modern agrotechnical practices and irrigation technologies. The company plans to expand this model across even larger farmland areas.
Operating in four core business areas and uniting 14 specialized enterprises, Agro Dairy applies an integrated “from land to table” model that covers the entire value chain. Recognized for certified seeds, high-quality products, and strong yields, the company is regarded as a reliable partner for farmers and one of the leading players in the nation’s agricultural sector.
