Niyazi Amirbeyov holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Biological Sciences from Baku State University, later expanding his expertise with a degree in Offshore Facilities Engineering at the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, followed by advanced studies at Duke University.

With nearly two decades of leadership experience at British Petroleum (BP) Azerbaijan, he built a strong track record in management, operations, and international collaboration. He also contributed as a consultant to GLG, a renowned U.S.-based advisory firm.

As CEO of Agro Dairy Group, Niyazi Amirbeyov drives the Group’s strategic growth, oversees operations, and champions innovation across its diverse business portfolio — positioning the company as a leader in Azerbaijan’s agri-food sector. 


With a distinguished career in agriculture, Christophe Hartig brings decades of expertise to Agro Dairy Group. A graduate of the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU), he is known for combining scientific knowledge with hands-on farming practices.

As a long-standing Senior Agricultural Advisor within the Group, he has been instrumental in shaping Agro Dairy’s farming strategies. Today, he chairs the Agronomic Council and advises the CEO and managing directors on both strategic and operational matters in crop production and livestock — ensuring innovation and best practices across the Group’s agri-food operations.

Ramil Mammadov brings over 25 years of leadership experience across agriculture, industry, and consulting. His career spans senior roles at Agro Dairy Group — including Chief Operations Officer and field manager — as well as management positions in the oil & gas sector and international advisory projects.

He holds degrees from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics and the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, complemented by advanced studies at the Tallinn School of Management.

In his current role as Managing Director of Crop Production, Ramil Mammadov oversees the Group’s crop farming assets, driving strategic planning, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement in product quality — strengthening Agro Dairy’s position as a leader in the agri-food sector.

Azer Vahabzade, a graduate of Münster University and a CIMA-accredited finance professional, brings extensive international expertise to Agro Dairy Group. Having held senior finance leadership roles across multiple countries and industries, he has built a strong track record in financial management, control, and strategic leadership.

In 2022, he was appointed CEO of Milla Dairy, where he drove significant advancements in the dairy category.

Today, as Managing Director of Dairy at Agro Dairy Group, Azer Vahabzade oversees the Group’s dairy operations, commercial strategy, and financial performance. He also represents Agro Dairy’s interests in joint ventures with AzProtein LLC and Dost Agro LLC, further strengthening the Group’s footprint in the agri-food sector 
With strong academic credentials — including degrees in Finance and Banking from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, an MBA from Anadolu University, doctoral studies at the Scientific-Research Institute of Economic Reforms, and specialized training in Audit at Charles University, Czech RepublicAsad Qurbanzade combines deep financial expertise with commercial leadership.

His professional journey spans key roles at the International Bank of Azerbaijan, PASHA Bank, and Agro Dairy, where he built extensive experience in sales and commercial management. A recognized leader, he was named a winner of the third “Yuksalish” national leadership competition.

As Chief Commercial Officer of Agro Dairy Group, Asad Qurbanzade drives the Group’s commercial agenda — leading sales, trade, and marketing operations across Crop Production, Grain Processing, and Livestock divisions. He is responsible for shaping and executing commercial strategy, ensuring revenue growth, advancing integrated Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), and steering a high-performing sales and trading team to strengthen Agro Dairy’s presence in both domestic and global markets.

With more than 15 years of expertise in financial management, Elnur Aliyev brings a wealth of cross-industry experience to Agro Dairy Group. A graduate of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics with both a bachelor’s degree and an MBA, he has served over a decade as a senior finance leader in FMCG, IT, and oil & gas sectors, and spent six years with PwC, one of the Big Four audit firms. As Chief Financial Officer of Agro Dairy Group, he drives the Group’s financial strategy and ensures alignment with its long-term objectives. His leadership spans budgeting, reporting, financial analysis, treasury, procurement, tax planning, and stakeholder relations with government and regulators. He also oversees the Group’s IT functions, supporting innovation and operational excellence across the business.  
With a strong academic background in Banking and Finance, Maximillian Hartig brings valuable expertise in strategy, transformation, and digital innovation. His professional experience at Deloitte and Agro Dairy equipped him with deep industry knowledge and a proven track record in strategic management, project planning, and driving digital transformation initiatives.

In his current role, Maximillian Hartig leads the formulation and execution of Agro Dairy Group’s corporate strategy, manages transformation programs across the Group, and champions the adoption of innovative and digital solutions — positioning the company for sustainable growth in a rapidly evolving agri-food sector.

Fatima Tagiyeva, CIPD Associate in People Management and graduate of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, brings over 15 years of HR leadership experience. Her career highlights include driving advanced HR strategies, building strong leadership-employee collaboration, fostering an engaging workplace culture, and elevating organizational performance.

Prior to joining Agro Dairy Group, Fatima Tagiyeva served as HR Transformation Director (Ventures) at PASHA Management Company (PMC), where she provided strategic HR leadership to five companies and managed HR processes for nearly 2,000 employees.

Earlier, she spent six years at BP, where she built a strong foundation in HR, particularly in employee relations, and gained invaluable experience in managing people within a global organization.

Maltam Novruzova, a graduate of Baku State University with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Law, brings extensive expertise across multiple sectors. Her career includes senior legal roles at MGB Law Office, Azmade Group, Milla Dairy, and Agro Trade Supply, where she built a strong foundation in corporate and commercial law.

Since 2018, she has been a member of the Azerbaijan Bar Association. In 2020, she was distinguished by IFLR1000 as a “Rising Star” in Financial and Corporate Law, recognizing her as one of Azerbaijan’s leading legal professionals.

Today, as Head of Legal & Risk at Agro Dairy Group, Maltam Novruzova leads the Group’s legal and risk functions — ensuring compliance, managing regulatory frameworks, and driving strategies that strengthen governance, ethics, and transparency across all business units.

With extensive expertise in health, safety, and environmental management, Nasimi Gurbanov plays a vital role in ensuring Agro Dairy Group’s operations meet the highest safety and sustainability standards. A graduate of Baku State University with a degree in Political Science, he is currently advancing his education in Emergency Management and Safety Engineering at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.

His career spans key HSE leadership roles, including positions at Worley Europe Limited (BP AGT, CGLP Project), PASHA Construction, Prokon LLC (Nobel Oil), and Samsung Engineering Co. LTD on SOCAR’s Ammonia and Urea Complex. He has successfully managed safety operations on large-scale industrial and construction projects, led risk assessments, and introduced proactive safety initiatives. He began his career at the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Department of Special Risky Rescue and Construction Safety.

As Head of HSE at Agro Dairy Group, Nasimi Gurbanov is responsible for enforcing safety standards, managing environmental compliance, and leading risk management across all projects — ensuring the well-being of people, communities, and the environment.
