New Record in Local Wheat Processing: Agro Dairy strengthens its leadership in food security

As one of the leading agricultural companies driving Azerbaijan’s food security strategy, Agro Dairy has announced a new milestone: its grain processing enterprise, ATS Mill, processed a record 55,000 tons of locally grown food wheat in 2025.
This achievement marks a threefold increase compared to previous years — with 17,000 tons processed in 2022 and 18,000 tons in 2023 — and highlights the company’s pivotal role in reducing reliance on imports and strengthening domestic production.
Powered by state support programs such as the Food Wheat Program, targeted subsidies, and guaranteed procurement mechanisms, ATS Mill has significantly expanded its capacity. Known for its popular “Abşeron” and “Cənub” flour brands, the company now utilizes advanced milling technologies to ensure high-quality production — from wheat cleaning to packaging.
Looking ahead, ATS Mill plans to process over 70,000 tons of local wheat in the 2025–2026 season, setting a new benchmark for the sector and reinforcing the country’s long-term food security.
“State programs, subsidies, and innovation have laid the foundation for sustainable growth in the wheat sector,” said Niyazi Amirbayov, CEO of Agro Dairy Group. “By combining modern technology with efficient resource management, Agro Dairy has expanded its production capabilities while making a strategic contribution to Azerbaijan’s food security.”
Through innovative farming systems and modern equipment, Agro Dairy has brought thousands of hectares of unused land back into circulation. Covering the full “from land to table” value chain, the Group continues to play a vital role in strengthening food security and ensuring the sustainable development of agriculture in Azerbaijan.
